Hans Kok, research specialist at Delphy and closely involved with the recently executed lily field trials says that with these trials First-Tree B.V. delivers on its promise to increase yields between 10 and 20. We don’t often seen such %.
Hans: ‘That is remarkable. We don’t often see such results for this type of plant growth regulator. And these are very interesting for lily growers, particularly those growing expensive cultivars.’
During the past 4 years several field trials have been done with biostimulants. ‘In comparison to those GOOD FOR GREENS® shows a very good result.’ During the last couple of months the treated crop clearly looked more vital than the control. Kok adds: ‘When we observe such an effect, we know from previous field trials that the yield increase is likely to be at least ten percent.’
Kok is curious whether in addition to these positive findings a corresponding improvement will be observed in the flowering and the number of buds as expected. He wholeheartedly favours the inclusion of GOOD FOR GREENS® in the ROL field trials with biostimulants scheduled for next year.
